Child treated at St. Elizabeth after being hit by a car

YOUNGSTOWN

A child is being treated at St. Elizabeth Health Center after being hit by a car about 4:20 p.m. today.

A police spokesman said the child, a girl, was hit by a car at Oakhill and Chicago avenues. He said when the driver of the car realized he had hit her, he called police.

The girl has a possible broken leg but no life threatening injuries, the spokesman said.
