YMCA seeks art for exhibition

The Davis Family YMCA on McClurg Road is seeking artists for its second annual But I Know What I Like juried art show.

The show is open to adult amateur and professional artists in a 40-mile radius. Art drop-off dates are Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For information and a prospectus, go to ymcaart.blogspot.com or email Suzanne Gray at sgray@youngstownymca.org.

Artist to exhibit paintings at Thiel

Greenville, Pa.

An exhibition of figurative paintings by New Castle artist Rabecca Signoriello will open Friday at Thiel College, in the Weyers-Sampson Art Gallery in the Howard Miller Student Center. It will run through Oct. 17.

Signoriello will attend the opening from 6 to 8 p.m. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Signoriello’s work has been exhibited at the State Museum, the Hoyt Institute of Art, Bruce Gallery, Bates Gallery and the Edinboro Animation Festival. For information, call 724-589-2095.
