Newsboys coming to Stambaugh

The Christian rock band Newsboys will come to Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., on Nov. 16 for a 7 p.m. concert.

The We Believe Tour includes special guests Family Force 5 and 7eventh Time Down.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the Stambaugh box office, at stambaughauditorium.com and at 330-259-0555.

With the release of their latest album, “Restart,” Newsboys is looking to expand the success they’ve seen since 2010’s “Born Again” produced three No. 1 radio hits, and 2012’s “God’s Not Dead” sold more than 300,000 copies. The addition of Michael Tait, formerly of dc Talk, as lead singer with Jody Davis (guitars), Duncan Phillips (drums), and Jeff Frankenstein (keyboards) has allowed Newsboys to continue their tradition.
