Andrei Kirilenko’s Utah home burglarized
SALT LAKE CITY
Police are looking for burglars who made off with various items from the Salt Lake City home of Brooklyn Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko.
Kirilenko, who played for the Utah Jazz from 2001 to 2011, and his wife, Masha Lopatova, now spend most of their time in New York, even though they maintain their Utah home.
Lopatova told the Deseret News she believes the burglars probably were young because they took a television set, a PlayStation and a collection of Marvel action heroes.
She says the burglary was discovered after a friend drove by the home last weekend and noticed the garage doors were open.
She says she and her husband were surprised by the burglary because they believe Salt Lake City is the “safest place on Earth.”
