SENIOR CITIZENS

AARP 4611 East will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. The executive board will meet at 11 a.m., and the general meeting will take place at noon. July, August and September birthdays will be celebrated. Take school supplies. There also will be refreshments and a 50-50 raffle. Guests and new members are welcome. Coitsville Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Bedford Trails Golf Course Restaurant, 713 Bedford Road, Coitsville. Members will order their meals from the menu. Jane Orlo will preside, and Blanche Sylvester will give the devotions. September birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. There will be a 50-50 drawing, and card bingo will be played. Coitsville residents and nonresidents are welcome.

Croatian Pensioners will meet at noon Thursday at the Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, for the September Fall Fest buffet. The cost is $10 for members and $12 for guests. Call 330-793-3458 for reservations, and make checks payable to the Croatian Pensioners.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the parish hall, 2729 Center Road in Poland. Hostesses are planning a Hawaiian-themed luncheon, and members are encouraged to wear their favorite tropical outfit. Following lunch, members and guests will play bingo and cards. Local 1199 Retirees will have a monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Monday at the union hall at 310 Church Hill-Hubbard Road. Guests are welcome.

Local 2243 USWA Copperweld Steel Co. Retirees, S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10, will have its regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Local 1375 Union Hall at 684 N. Park Ave. in Warren. The guest speaker will be Bill Leiby, pharmacist. Refreshments will be served. Take old pill bottles.

OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Friendly’s on Route 224 in Poland. All OBES retirees are welcome.

St. Christine Seniors will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parish center, where Ruth Infante will preside. Carol McClain and Dorothy Lo Sasso will give reports. Members may take their own sandwich, and the club will provide dessert, coffee and tea. There will be a drawing for a free lunch and a 50-50 raffle. Bingo and card games will be played.
