Prominent women to mark ATHENA leadership day

WEST MIDDLESEX, PA.

Established and emerging women leaders from Lawrence and Mercer counties will gather Sept. 30 at the Park Inn by Radisson to celebrate the fourth annual ATHENA International Women’s Leadership Day.

The local event, sponsored by the women’s Fund of the community Foundation of Western Pa. and Eastern Ohio, will be hosted by a committee of women leaders and will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Established women leaders are encouraged to invite emerging women leaders to be their guests at the dinner. Tickets are $75 for one established and one emerging leader guest. Single tickets cost $40, and in both cases, $15 is tax deductible.

Attendees will participate in a coordinated networking activity, hear from a panel of women leaders and participate in table discussions about ATHENA principles of leadership. Proceeds will benefit the women’s fund in the Community Foundation in support of future women’s leadership development activities.
