Boardman-based R. Kashmiry and Associates Inc. announced that Amy Romano was promoted to vice president of individual and medicare sales after two years with Kashmiry. This will be effective Oct. 1. Romano previously was employed with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a sales representative for the individual and Medicare market. Romano has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ashland University and an MBA from Cleveland University.

The Maumee, Ohio-based Mannik & Smith Group Inc. has appointed Sheri Bokros as vice president of business development.

Bokros is a 2004 graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She has been with MSG for 10 years, most recently serving the company as business development and marketing manager.
