Kirsten Mesmer, Gerald Mariotti plan Oct. vows

Kirsten Mesmer and Gerald Mariotti, both of Salem, are announcing their engagement along with their parents.

She is the daughter of Kim Mesmer of Petersburg and Dave Mesmer of Boardman. He is the son of Kay and Alex Mariotti of Canfield.

The couple will exchange vows in a 3 p.m. ceremony Oct. 25 at the Barn and Gazebo in Salem, where the reception will follow. Invitations are being extended.

The bride-elect and prospective groom each earned degrees from Youngstown State University.

Her degree is in pre-kindergarten education, and she is an administrator and teacher for Small Wonders Discovery and Learning Center in Greenford.

His degree is in business administration, and he works for the Tamarkin Co. in Austintown.
