v David Grohl Alley Rock ’n’ Art Fest, 6 to 10 p.m.: Live music with Haymaker and a motorcycle stunt show will highlight this annual event in Grohl Alley in downtown Warren.

v Pabstolutely, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.: A dozen bands will perform ($5) on an outdoor stage at the Royal Oaks, 924 Oak St., Youngstown.

v Carpatho-Rusyn and Slovak Vatra, 2 to 8 p.m.: This ethnic festival will culminate in a traditional autumn bonfire and singing. It’s at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church, 7754 South Ave., Boardman; 330-544-0107.

v Old Time Fall Fun at Lanterman’s Mill, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Visitors can take a turn grinding grain, carding and spinning wool, play games from the past, and explore the grist- mill to see how things were done in the 1800s (regular admission fees apply). v Outdoor Family Fun Day, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Archery for kids, hikes, fishing, a duck-blind demonstration, taxidermy animals on display, live snakes, food tasting and more at the Lariccia Family Community Center in Boardman Park. Admission is free with a nonperishable food donation.

“Deliverance Creek” (8 p.m., Lifetime): “Deliverance Creek,” a new film from Nicholas Sparks, is set during the Civil War. It follows a widow and mother of three who is pushed into becoming an outlaw to protect her family’s land.

“Reckless” (8 p.m., CBS): The first season concludes.

“Great Performances” (8 p.m., PBS): “Star-Spangled Spectacular: The Bicentennial of Our National Anthem” includes a performance by Jordin Sparks and a fireworks display. Sparks and fireworks? Hmm.

Rock Hall of Fame inductee John Mellencamp will come to Playhouse Square’s Connor Palace on Jan. 31 for a 7:30 p.m. concert in his support of his soon-to-be-released “Plain Spoken” album. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at playhousesquare.org and at 216-241-6000. Prices are $118.50, $85, $65 and $42.50. Ticket purchasers will receive a digital download of the “Plain Spoken” record, which will be released Sept. 23.
