Ray Mancini to appear at grand opening of Austintown racino

AUSTINTOWN — Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, Youngstown native and former world lightweight boxing champion, will be at the grand-opening ceremonies Wednesday for the Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course.

Hollywood Gaming will roll out the red carpet with 850 video lottery terminals, simulcast racing from around the country, a one-mile track with a grandstand and live racing starting Nov. 24, and seven food and beverage outlets with a performance stage.

Doors officially open to the public at noon Wednesday.
