Jaclyn Yankle had 12 kills and Lauren Lottier had 23 digs for Mooney. Gina Patella added 34 assists and three aces for the Cardinals (7-0). Sarah Obradovich had six kills and three assists and Keara Katcher added 19 digs for the Falcons (1-5). JV: Mooney 2-0.

MINERAL RIDGE

Peyton Allen recorded 19 kills, two aces, six assists, 12 digs and two blocks in Mineral Ridge’s five set win over Crestview. Breanna Miner added six kills, three aces, 45 assists, 17 digs and four blocks for the Rams (7-1). For Crestview, Brooke Harper had 14 kills, 24 digs and 16 points. Abbie Gauhgher added 32 digs and 13 kills for the Rebels.

Junior Mike Myers scored a first-half goal off an assist from sophomore Justin Parkins to lift Mooney (6-2). Junior Dustin Hudak made five saves in the win, while junior Levi Coon had nine saves for Marlington (3-4-1). JVs: 0-0.

Dylan O’Hara scored two goals and Will Rich had one for Girard. Chris Mariano made five saves for the Indians.

Seth Ogden had a goal and an assist and Josh Long also had an assist for Heartland (2-2-1). Ben Burgess made seven saves. For Leetonia, Zoe Bruderly had five saves and Mitch Baker made three.

Taylor Kramar scored two goals for the Braves and Chloe Flowers, April Larrison, Holly Masters and Lexie Skertic also scored. Ursuline 5, Yo. Christian 3

YOUNGSTOWN

Erica Lehn scored two goals in the opening minutes as Ursuline held on for victory over Youngstown Christian. Logan Schnable netted a pair of goals for the Eagles, but the Irish pulled away with second half goals by Angela Bowell and Adrianna Quattro. Jordyn Kenneally had five saves for Ursuline, while Natalia Mahdee stopped seven shots for Youngstown Christian.
