Liberty police investigating theft of boxer puppy

LIBERTY — A man told police two men and a woman stole a 4-week old boxer puppy from him.

Jacob Marshall Evans, 24, told police the three came to see the puppy he had advertised at 9:10 p.m. Thursday at his Murray Hill Drive home.

Evans said he allowed one of the men to take the dog to his girlfriend, who was parked on the street. He got in the vehicle with it and she drove away.
