Cincy police: 1 man killed, 1 critical in shootings

CINCINNATI (AP) — Police say one man is dead and another has been hospitalized in critical condition after late-night shootings in Cincinnati.

Investigators aren’t sure what the shootings were about. They are asking for help in finding witnesses. They say they have no suspects yet.

Police say 28-year-old Wynton Burton was pronounced dead at the scene just before midnight Thursday in the Winton Hills area.

The second man apparently ran a short distance from the scene before collapsing from his wounds. He was taken to a hospital. His name wasn’t released immediately.
