Cardinal Mooney announces new program

The mission of Cardinal Mooney High School is to provide a quality education while embracing gospel values and continuing a tradition of sanctity, scholarship and discipline, enabling students to achieve personal excellence.

Mooney alumni, families and friends now have a new way to regularly support this mission. For a minimum $10 a month, they can join Mooney’s Legacy Team, which allows automatic, monthly deductions from the supporter’s credit or debit card.

“The Legacy Team started because there are so many members of the Mooney family who want to stay engaged and supportive of the school but are not looking to give especially large donations in a lump sum,” said Fr. Gerald DeLucia, president of Cardinal Mooney. “We call it ‘The Legacy Team’ because it really strengthens the long-term sustainability of our mission.”

Supporters are asked to check out the Legacy Team page of the Cardinal Mooney website (www.CardinalMooney.com/legacy).

“The Legacy Team allows our supporters to choose donations ranging from $10-$50 a month in increments of $5,” said Mike Latessa, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Mooney.

Once credit card information is provided, monthly deductions in that amount are made automatically and go toward helping Mooney build more opportunities for its students. Participants can decide if they want to continue after 12 months.
