Boardman police probe suspected burglary

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a burglary in which someone reportedly stole $3,000 in cash and two checkbooks from a victim in the 780 block of Indianola Road.

According to a police report filed Thursday, the victim reported that on Wednesday he noticed a wooden box containing $3,000 in cash and a checkbook was missing from his house.

He reported that another checkbook was missing as well.
