Vandalism reported in Campbell

CAMPBELL — Police reported finding at least 15 incidents of vandalism Wednesday afternoon scattered along Murray Street. Police reported the vandalism included painted vulgar words and was seen on poles, sidewalks and steps.

A Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority supervisor notified police. Sgt. David Taybus said police arrived at Murray Street about 1:40 p.m., and said most of the paint looked dry. He said police identified one suspect as a Campbell teen who lives on Murray.

Taybus said a YMHA crew will clean up the vandalism before the end of the week.
