Burger King’s move to Canada is an attack on the middle class

Well here we go again. The American people have proven to be the biggest morons on the planet. Does anyone know why Burger King is moving its headquarters to Canada? In case you don’t know, it’s for tax purposes. They will save U.S. tax dollars by doing so. Does that ring a bell? In more than one letter to the editor, I have told the foreign car buyers that they help this type of situation. The profits go back to the country of origin where the taxes are.

This used to be the car capital of the world, but not any more because Americans want to do away with the middle class, and the government is helping them get their wish, along with big business who are more than glad to take their products to other countries for the same reason that Burger King is moving.

Remember Detroit the car city? Not any more. It’s like someone set off a bomb to destroy the middle class and make the city just another welfare country. And that is exactly what the government wants. Why do you think they are against unions? Because unions create middle-class jobs.

Remember when President Reagan fired the traffic controllers? Not one union stood up to back the union that was fighting for its life. The government knew the unions were done, and today, they are, and that’s where it all started.

You want the middle class back? Then quit buying foreign cars and bring this country back to where it was the leader in everything. And, please don’t tell me the foreign cars are better.

And you youth, get a life beyond your cellphones, drugs of all kinds, sports, and if-it-feels-good-do-it mentality. You are the hope of this nation; better wake up before it’s too late.
