Youngstown Foundation funding helps Trumbull Mobile Meals

WARREN — A $10,000 gift from The Youngstown Foundation has allowed Trumbull Mobile Meals to provide seven clients each day with a hot meal for the past year.

The gift was earmarked for those who could not afford the full cost of home-delivered meals. The meals consist of a meat, starch, vegetable and cup of fruit or salad, bread and butter and a beverage.

Trumbull Mobile Meals says the foundation’s gift has improved the quality of life for people who do not have the resources to drive to a congregate meal site or food distribution center.
