Poland Historical Society dedicates new historical marker Saturday

POLAND — The Poland Historical Society will dedicate a new Ohio Historical Marker at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Village Green on South Main Street near the Presbyterian Church.

The new marker, which is Poland’s fifth, will recognize the Village Green, the Old Village Graveyard and the Presbyterian Church, all of which were established in the 1800s.

The event is free, and attendees should bring lawn chairs.
