Martin juror threat allegations "patently false," court says

Trumbull County Common Pleas Court has issued stricter communication restrictions for David Martin, who is on trial for murder in in the death of Jeremy Cole of Warren.

A news release from the court this afternoon, however, says allegations of a threat made by Martin to a juror “are patently false.”

Still, he is prohibited from making calls from the jail, other than to his lawyer; and calls will be monitored by jail staff. The order is signed by Judge Andrew Logan.
