Williams and Most have remained friends after “Happy Days,” and live a few minutes apart in Los Angeles.

Williams began his television career with a role on an episode of “Owen Marshall, Counselor at Law” and followed it with appearances on “The Paul Lynde Show,” “Marcus Welby, M.D.” and three variety specials with Tony Randall.

His role at Potsie on “Happy Days” was a perfect opportunity to showcase his acting and vocal talents. After hearing him sing backstage, the writers incorporated his singing ability into the show. Williams soon began to perform across the country and released several records.

In 1977, he starred in his own syndicated TV special, “Anson Williams at Sea World.”

Don Most is best known for his co-starring role as Ralph Malph on “Happy Days.”

Recently, he has had a recurring role on the Fox show “Glee” as well as a starring role in the indie film “The Yankles.”

His other film credits include “ED TV,” directed by Ron Howard; “Crazy Mama,” directed by Jonathan Demme; “The Great Buck Howard,” starring John Malkovich; and most recently, “Chez Upshaw,” starring Kevin Pollack and Illleana Douglas.

He has directed three feature films: “The Last Best Sunday,” “Moola” and “Harley”s Hill.”
