YOUNGSTOWN

It’s not too late to start college classes at Eastern Gateway Community College.

The admissions and advising staff at the college’s Valley Center will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday and Sept. 20 to register students for flex classes that begin Sept. 22. These courses will end by the conclusion of the fall semester in December.

A variety of courses is included in this schedule. The courses will cover all materials included in a regularly scheduled semester-length course. The schedule of available classes may be found at www.egcc.edu.

Voter registration

YOUNGSTOWN

The YWCA of Youngstown, 25 W. Rayen Ave., will participate in National Voter Registration Day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 23. Voters must bring their driver’s license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number for the voter registration form.

National Voter Registration Day is a nationwide effort to register voters before Election Day in November.
