September activities at the YWCA include:

VXI Job Fair, Sept. 10, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 25 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown.

VXI is partnering with YWCA of Youngstown to offer quality, affordable childcare for VXI employees with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. There’s an exclusive discount for VXI employees, up to 15 percent.

Science of Reproductive Health, Sept. 16, 6 to 8 p.m.,

This event will be held in collaboration with OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology.

National Voter Registration Day, Sept. 23, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The YWCA of Youngstown will participate in National Voter Registration Day, a massive 50-state effort to register voters before Election Day this November. To vote, you need to be registered. You must register at least 30 days before election day, Nov. 4. Register to vote at the YWCA. Your driver’s license number or the last four digits of your social security number are required on the voter registration form.

Leadership Conference, Sept. 26, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Leadership Conference includes guest speakers, break-out sessions, networking opportunities, basket raffle and door prizes.

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Barb Ewing, COO of the Youngstown Business Incubator. Other presenters include Natalie Lariccia, CRPC; Deanna Colella, investment adviser representative; Colleen Kelly, Youngstown Business Incubator development director; Tracie L. Schmidt, LPA; Judge Cheryl L. Waite, Seventh District Court of Appeals; Tracey Winbush, president and CEO and radio talk show host; and Carol Rimedio-Righetti, Mahoning County Commissioner. Limited vendor and resource tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

YWCA Columbus Event, Sept. 23, 6 to 8 p.m. YWCA Columbus, 65 S. 4th St., will offer a free opportunity for Ohio elected officials and candidates for public office to share their accomplishments and visions for addressing issues of concern to women, particularly black women and girls.
