Valley Legacy Awards will be presented at the 10th annual luncheon at noon Oct. 2 at the Magnuson Grand Hotel, 9519 E. Market St.

The awards recognize outstanding seniors and senior advocates from Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. They honor people age 60 or older who deserve recognition for a lifetime of working to improve the Mahoning Valley and people who have provided exceptional support to older Americans through their professional, volunteer or civic roles.

Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the luncheon will begin at noon. At 12:30 p.m. Leslie Barrett, 21 WFMJ TV evening news co-anchor, will present the awards.
