Gathering Place will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield. The program will include seeing eye dogs, pet blessings, cards and games. Lunch will be served for an optional donation. This program is for all seniors to have an afternoon of fun and socializing. Trumbull County Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program offers a certified instructor to provide a review of driving skills and techniques as well as strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving ability. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. Classes will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Hubbard Public Library, 436 W. Liberty St.; from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Cortland S.C.O.P.E., 125 N. Bank St.; and from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 at St. Joe’s at Eastwood Mall in Niles.
