1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas Church, Fifth Street, Struthers, in the great hall. John Texter will preside. AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. There will be a covered dish picnic. Members whose last name begins with the letters A thru I should take salads, and others H through Z are asked to take a casserole. Also take serving utensils and table service. Beverages and dessert will be furnished. Next month’s speaker will be Daniel R. Yemma, Mahoning County treasurer, regarding real estate taxes. Sept. 19 there will be a bus trip to include a train ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad and a tour of Cleveland on Lolly the Trolley with a stop at Westside Market. AARP Chapter 4339 will meet at 1 p.m. at the Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive. Blood pressures will be taken by a Salem Visiting Nurse. Dues of $5 will be collected for 2015, and Sgt. Lucy McLaughlin and a dog from the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department will be the guests. There will be a board meeting at 12:30 and The Notable Choir will resume its weekly practices. Refreshments will be served.

J.C. Penney Retirees will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday after the noon Mass. John Mascardine will preside, and reports will be given by Beverly Pondillo and Ann Leone. Lunch will be served, and birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. There will be a 50-50 drawing, and cards and bingo will be played. Guests are welcome.
