Jury selection slated for Tuesday in 2010 shooting case

YOUNGSTOWN — Jury selection is expected to get underway Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court in a 2010 shooting case where a passer-by was struck by a stray bullet.

Judge Maureen Sweeney will hear the case against 23-year-old Kshaun Weaver of Oak Street, who faces charges of felonious assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm for the Nov. 28, 2010, shooting of Kenneth Woods Jr., 22 at the time, of West Judson Avenue.
