Fire damages plant in Mercer County

GREENVILLE, PA.

Firefighters from at least 14 departments battled a blaze Sunday evening at the Penn Ex Aluminum extrusion plant, 93 Werner Road, Sugar Grove Township, Mercer County.

The fire, which apparently started on the plant roof, was reported at 7:34 p.m. in the former Werner Ladder plant, according to a Mercer County 911 supervisor. No injuries were reported.
