David Martin's attorney: My client is guilty

WARREN — An attorney for David Martin, on trial in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court in the murder of Jeremy Cole, conceded that Martin is guilty of the murder.

In fact, he said, many of the facts are not in dispute.

"This is not a whodunit," public defender Matt Pentz said.

The first witness will take the stand around 2 pm.

If convicted of the murder and certain other charges, the jury will hear evidence to decide whether he should get the death penalty.
