Howland 25-25, Massillon 13-13

UNIONTOWN

Caroline Henneman collected 14 service points and four aces and Jessie Moore added eight points as Howland (4-4) swept Massillon in a tri-match at Green High School. Christian Carr led the Tigers with eight kills and digs and Faith Grant had five kills. Lexi Miner led Howland with 12 assists and Moore had nine. Kara Rushin had four digs.

Howland 25-22-25, Green 18-25-22

UNIONTOWN

Cassie Murcko and Christian Carr combined for 33 kills won its second match of the day at Green, this time beating the Bulldogs in three games. Murcko had 17 kills and Carr had 16 kills and 14 digs. Lexi Miner (26 assists), Heather Tutoko (nine points) and Kara Rushin (seven points) also contributed. Murcko and Faith Grant each had three blocks and Carr had three aces.

South Range 25-25-25, West Branch 13-17-19

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Jordan Youngs had 14 kills, 15 digs and eight points while Eliza Garlough made 21 digs for the Raiders (5-3). Emily Moretti contributed four kills, 13 digs and five points For the Warriors (5-4), Kaylee Manning made 18 digs, Sydney Townes made 13 kills and Pavin Heath had 16 assists and four. JV: West Branch, 14-25, 25-13, 25-14.

Heartland Christian 25-25-25, East Palestine 8-16-15

COLUMBIANA

Bonnie Flynn had 19 digs, Ginny Burgess had 33 assists and Kristen Osborn had 24 kills for Heartland Christian (6-2). Sadie Walker had seven assists and Carson Rutledge had seven digs for East Palestine.

Haylie Kiser made seven digs, Amanda Reppart made four blocks, Miranda Dodrill made five kills and Hayley Davies scored five points with three aces for the Vikings.

Kiser made five digs, Dodrill made four kills and Davies scored five points with two aces.

LaBrae 25-22-25, Ravenna 18-25-14

WINDHAM

Dodrill led the Vikings (3-5) with 11 points with six aces and 14 kills. Reppart made five blocks and Kiser 14 digs.

POLAND

Carli Sebest led the Bulldogs (4-2-0) with three goals. Libby Rubesa scored two goals while Claire Testa, Shayla Gebhardt, Sophia Harakal and Jessica Miller each netted one. Dani Rutana and Briana Stackpole each made two assists while Sebest, Testa, Katlynn Dailey and Sophia Harakal each had one. For the Tigers, Haley LaMorticella and Ashlee Butryn scored goals: JV: Poland, 6-0.

Boardman 5, Badger 0

BOARDMAN

Alison Green scored three goals for the Spartans (3-4-0). Alexis Downie and Kristen Huck scored the other goals. Anna Saxton, Megan O’Neil, Alexis Cailor and Cassie Stitt had assists. Huck and Camillle Holzschuh combined for four saves. For Badger, goalkeeper Izabelle Armsrong made seven saves. JV: Boardman, 3-0.

Cardinal Mooney 4, Kirtland 3

KIRTLAND

Cardinal Mooney (3-3) was lead by Julie Vazquez, who had with two goals and an assist. Lexy Herman had a goal and an assist and Liz Philibin scored a goal. Samantha Ellis had six saves for the Cardinals.

Corry 3, West Middlesex 1

CORRY, PA.

Cammie Hooper scored two goals and Megan Donato one for the Beavers, For West Middlesex, Gretchen Elsey scored the goal and Morgan Atterholt recorded 14 saves.

BOYS SOCCER

Bay Village Bay 4, Cardinal Mooney 0

STRUTHERS

Daniel Linhart, Scott Durham and Ryan Bracken scored goals as Bay (5-1-1), the state’s third-ranked Division II team, defeated Cardinal Mooney (4-2). Bay’s fourth goal was scored off a Cardinals player. Bay goalkeepers Seth Foerstner and Matt Korte combined for seven saves. Bay also defeated Richfield Revere, the state’s top-ranked team, last week. Cardinal Mooney goalie Dustin Hudak had 11 saves. JV: Bay, 6-0.
