The Trumbull Memorial Health Foundation elected Patrick K. Wilson, a lawyer with Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell law firm in Warren, as chairman of its board of trustees.

Wilson has been a board member of the health foundation and its predecessor since 2004 and has practiced law in the Mahoning Valley for more than 25 years. He has served as law director in Cortland since 2001.

ORTHOPEDICS

Dr. Brad M. Picha, an orthopedic spine surgeon, was named partner at Youngstown Orthopedic Associates, the area’s largest orthopedic surgery practice.

Dr. Picha’s practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of all disorders of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral spines. He officially became a partner Sept. 1. With his election, YOA has nine partners, all of them board-certified orthopedic surgeons.

CARDIOLOGY

Sharon Regional Health System received the American College of Cardiology Foundation’s National Cardiology Data Registry’s “Get With The Guidelines Platinum Performance Achievement Award” for 2014, one of only 256 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.

To receive the award, Sharon Regional consistently followed the treatment guidelines for eight-consecutive quarters and met a performance standard of 90 percent for specific performance measures.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

The Trumbull Career & Technical Center Board of Education hired Robert Lidle as its adult education industrial training coordinator. His responsibilities include the development, implementation and marketing of industrial classes and customized and consultative services, as well as employer-sponsored apprenticeship training in construction, computer-aided design, electrical, maintenance, machining, welding and others.

Lidle is a commercial electrician and is certified with the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
