Local talent showcased at Stambaugh

Stambaugh Auditorium will feature two events showcasing local performers.

The Rust Belt Theater Company will bring “Electra” to the Formal Garden on Sept. 21 and Opera Western Reserve will have a preview of Don Giovanni in Christman Memorial Hall on Oct. 26.

“Electra,” adapted by Robert Dennick Joki from the writings of Sophocles, Euripides and Eschylus, tells the story of the aftermath of the Trojan War. Terri MacSkimming plays the title role; Molly Galano, Clytemnestra; Kage Coven, Orestes; and Bernadette Lim as Chrysothemis.

Kravitz Delicatessen will cater lunch for this show.

Opera Western Reserve will present a preview of the production of “Don Giovanni.” Performances include arias from “Don Giovanni” and other opera classics.

There will be a catered lunch by Fifth Season.
