Youngstown police nab 3 on drug charges

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown police charged three men with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after performing two search warrants late Wednesday afternoon. Arrested at 4:52 p.m. was James Brown, 31, of Youngstown, and at 5:56 p.m. were Willie Glenn, 25, of Youngstown and Adam Perkins, 19, of Girard.

The search at Browns’ Parkwood Avenue residence turned up a bag of marijuana, a bag of suspected cocaine and a bag of suspected heroin.

Police also searched an East Dewey Avenue home and saw Glenn try to run behind the home before securing him. They found a bag of marijuana and Tramadol pills in Glenn’s pockets and two bags of crack inside the home. Police said Perkins was inside and they found four bags of crack in his pockets.

Brown is to appear in at 9 a.m. today , and Glenn and Perkins at 10 a.m. today in Youngstown Municipal Court.
