Thefts reported from Victoria's Secret in Boardman

Township police are investigating a theft case in which a woman reportedly stole more than $700 worth of merchandise from Victoria's Secret, 7401 Market Street.

According to a police report filed Wednesday, an employee of the store observed merchandise missing from a sales rack and magnetic tags laying on the ground.

She then observed a woman leave the dressing room, in which the suspect left multiple items from the store even though she had been seen entering with only a few.

After the suspect fled the store after being confronted, the employee found $600 worth of merchandise in the dressing room and estimated that the suspect left with $727.50 worth of items.
