WOODCARVERS WORKSHOP
When: Monday, 6:30 p.m.
What: Woodcarving enthusiasts of all skill levels invited to the Visitors Center. Beginners and those just curious about woodcarving especially welcome to attend.

LITTLE ADVENTURES
When: Tuesday, 9-10 a.m.
What: Unscripted walk with toddlers and a caregiver for children up to 3 years old on various trails. Younger, nonwalking children in backpacks or carriers welcome; certain locations may not be appropriate for strollers.
Details: Canceled for inclement weather. Registration required by Monday before program.

End of Summer Arrangement
When: Tuesday, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
What: Remember the “hot” colors of summer by designing fresh floral arrangement of yellow, white, purple, with a touch of orange. Marie Borocz will guide you in using flowers to create sunny arrangement.
Fee: $39; FFRG member, $30.
MIDWEST DAHLIA SOCIETY SHOW & Conference
When: Sept. 13, noon-4 p.m., Sept. 14, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
What: Dahlia growers from seven states will display blooms and arrangements throughout the venue.
