Volunteers needed Fri., Sat. to help build Wick Park playground

YOUNGSTOWN — Volunteers are invited to join Youngstown CityScape at Wick Park, 260 Park Ave. between Pennsylvania and Ohio avenues, from noon to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday to help build the new Wick Park Playground.

Volunteers are asked to come to the area behind the building in Wick Park. Parking is available on the side streets and some interior parking in the park. Volunteers, who will be working on building the playground along with some overall clean up and painting, are advised to dress appropriately and bring water bottles. Some snacks and water will be available.
