Nia Sade Bradley and Jason Alexander Peters exchanged vows on May 17 at the Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Paul A. Thibodeaux officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the HEAL Complex on the campus of Paine College.

The couple honeymooned in Puerto Rico and reside in Pittsburgh.

The bride, daughter of Drs. George C. Bradley and Tina Marshall-Bradley of Augusta, earned a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University.

Her husband, son of the Rev. Arthur I. Peters of Rochester, Pa., and Patricia L. Stokes of Youngstown, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a U.S. Navy veteran.

Mrs. Peters wore a cream, pearl and silver strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical waist. It was embellished with a crystal belt. The skirt featured tiers of tulle skirting. The ensemble was completed with a cathedral beaded veil with a bustier. Attendants, wearing champagne colored gowns, were Jessica Battle; Tyachenna Bradley, the bride’s sister; Andrea Howard; Sarah Peters, the groom’s sister; and Deja Waymer, the bride’s cousin.

Olivia Peters, the groom’s niece, was flower girl.

Groomsmen were Curtis Bradley, the bride’s brother; Solomon Isekeije, Anthony Marshall II, and Antoine Marshall, cousins of the bride; and Jacob Peters, the groom’s brother. Isaiah N. Bradley, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer.
