Elementary school children dressed in Halloween costumes, accompanied by a parent or guardian, are welcome at the stadium from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m, before the football game between Fitch and Cardinal Mooney. The game’s kick-off is at 7:30. The event will not affect the Austintown Township trick or treating hours, which will be taking place 5 to 7 p.m. today.

Canfield: Family First of Canfield will host a “Trick or Eat,” a free family-friendly Halloween event for the township from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturdayat Canfield Village Middle School, 42 Wadsworth St. There will be games, inflatables, hot dogs, cider, music, and candy in a safe, indoor atmosphere. The event is offered for all children and parents from Canfield. The Family First organization consists of four Canfield churches — Christian Life Church, Grace Family Church, Rush Church, and Word of God Christian Fellowship — who aim to host events for the enjoyment and betterment of the Canfield community. Family friendly costumes are encouraged; parents and family members are welcome to join children as they move from game to game within the venue. The Saturday event will be 4 to 6 p.m., just before Canfield Village trick-or-treat hours from 6 to 8 p.m.; organizers encourage families to enjoy both activities.
