Smart Choice Food orders being taken at Niles church

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice Food at the church.

Orders will be accepted with cash, check, money order or Ohio Direction Card from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, 6 to 7 p.m. next Thursday and 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 10.

Orders also will be taken at Niles Community Services, 401 Vienna Ave., from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Nov. 10.

Box choices range in price from $24 to $39 and include meat and vegetables, convenience meals, sirloin steak box, bacon-wrapped sirloin box, steakburger box, Thanksgiving basics box and a dessert box. There is a special dessert box available for $21 with the purchase of any other box. There are no income restrictions or guidelines.

Online specials at www.smartchoicefood.com can be ordered on the website or at the church. Mail-in orders will be accepted with payment of postal or bank money order or certified check to New Hope Church.

Payment and mail-in orders must be received by Nov. 7. Online ordering will close at midnight Nov. 16. A 3 percent handling fee will be added to all online orders.

Distribution is from 9 to 10 a.m. Nov. 22. A community breakfast will be served the same day from 9 to 10:30 a.m. For information, call 330-652-3625.
