Ribbon cutting held for new Warren tech plant

WARREN

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held today at the new Laird technology manufacturing plant, 655 North River Road NW.

London-based Laird is global company in wireless electronic component manufacturing.

“We’re really proud to call Warren our new home,” said David Lockwood, chief executive of Laird.

The plant relocated from Sharpsville, Pa., which was 32,000 square feet, whereas the new location is 80,000. The plant employs 160 people, most of who have transferred from the older plant.
