15 to life in prison for Leo Kellish

Leo Kellish, 34, was sentenced today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to 15 years to life in prison for the Nov. 28, 2013, beating death of 70-year-old Dennis Simmons at his home in the 2400 block of Shirley Road.

Kellish pleaded guilty to a charge of murder before Judge Lou D'Apolito.

Two members of Simmons' family addressed the judge before the sentencing.
