Cafaro Foundation donates $25,000 to Warren JFK

WARREN
A $25,000 grant from the Cafaro Foundation to John F. Kennedy Catholic High School will help replace the school’s original aluminum windows, which often are drafty, with new energy-efficient ones.
The cost of installing new vinyl windows with ultraviolet tinting in the entire building is projected at $170,000. Cafaro Foundation Trustees hope the gift will encourage others to come forward to support the project, as well as the mission of John F. Kennedy Catholic High School, which is celebrating its golden anniversary this year.
“Kennedy is grateful to the Cafaro Foundation for this charitable gift that will enable our facility to become more energy-efficient,” Joseph Kenneally, JFK’s interim president, said in a news release, adding that the foundation’s support “will help ensure that we have the ability to continue to educate the students of Trumbull County for another 50 years.”
