Deadline missed for TCTC report

WARREN

The Trumbull Career and Technical Center missed the deadline by 22 minutes last week to file its campaign finance report with the Trumbull County Board of Elections.

But it isn’t facing any sanctions for it, an elections board official said.

The school, which has a renewal levy on the ballot next week, had $34,533 available when the most recent reporting period began and received $10,759 in contributions. It spent $26,800 and has $18,491 left in its account.

Most of its expenditures were payments to marketing and public-relations firm VC Rubenstein Associates of Liberty — $26,076 — for advertisements, letters, yard signs, postage, envelopes, printing and preparations for a golf outing, the report says.
