Woman's car window shot out on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A 38-year-old city woman told police she was driving along Erie Street on the South Side about 6 p.m. this evening and stopped for the red light on East Lucius Avenue when a man she didn’t know got out of an SUV parked in a driveway along the street and come running toward her car, screaming profanities.

As he got closer, the woman got scared and drove away heading north on Erie. She told police the man pulled out a gun and shot at her car, shattering the back window. She was not injured.
