Leo Kellish pleads guilty to murder

YOUNGSTOWN

Leo Kellish, 34, pleaded guilty today to a charge of murder in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for the Nov. 28, 2013, killing of 70-year-old Dennis Simmons.

Simmons was found beaten to death about 3:20 a.m. in the driveway of his home in the 2400 block of Shirley Road.

The plea comes after over two hour of negotiations after a jury was picked to hear the case.
