Church schedules craft show, auction

A craft show and basket auction will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday to raise money to complete the renovation of Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market Street.

Local crafters will be selling folk art, sewn items, wood carvings and puzzles, goat’s milk soap, sports-themed ornaments, cornhole bags, inspiration message bracelets, paintings on slate and canvas, framed graphic design, photo prints and home decor.

Church members will have food available for purchase also. The basket auction consists of hand-made items donated by local crafters to help pay off recent renovations to the building, built in 1952.
