Trumbull Mobile Meals will have a basket extravaganza Nov. 8 at Packard Music Hall. It will feature food, music, 100 silent auction baskets, basket and live auctions.

BINGO/Card PARTIES

St. Patrick Altar & Rosary Society will host its Fall Card and Bingo Social from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the church hall, 225 N. Main St., Hubbard. The donation is $5 and will be collected at the door. A light lunch will be served, and there will be table prizes, door prizes, a basket auction and a 50-50 raffle.

CRAFT SHOWS

St. Jude Women’s Guild needs vendors for its annual craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. The show features hand-crafted and homemade items, a basket auction, bake sale, big prize raffle and a lunch counter with a varied menu including vegetable beef soup. St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, is seeking vendors for a holiday craft show planned for Nov. 15. Call 330-792-1578 for details. The craft show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include holiday gifts and raffles. Admission is free. There are no steps to climb at the center.

Saxon Ladies Branch 22 is having its annual craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 8. It will include a basket raffle, a 50-50 drawing and a light lunch menu. The cost is $30 to rent a table. For information call 330-788-4274.

FESTIVALS/FAIRS

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, will host a Harvest Festival for families from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. There will be candy, food and games.

FUNDRAISERS

Girard Knights of Columbus will have a fundraiser at West Fork Roadhouse, 3850 Belmont Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children. SALES

The women’s group of Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, will host its annual Trash and Treasure Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be household goods, clothing, holiday decorations, toys, books and miscellaneous items. Baked goods also will be sold. All clothing will be $1 a bag beginning at 12:30, and all merchandise will be half-off. Lunch will be available and will consist of homemade vegetable beef soup, pork and sauerkraut sandwiches, pie, hot dogs, sloppy joes, pop and coffee. Proceeds will be used for area charities.

Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has fall fashions available, new and used, for the entire family. Buy two items and get one free. Also, sign up for a door prize. Open each Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Agape Assembly and its pastor, the Rev. Todd Johnson, will sponsor a Fall Gospel Skate on Friday at Champion Rollarena, 5040 Mahoning Ave. There will be Christian gospel music, games, candy and prizes. No costumes or masks. From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. will be a free family skate party for all ages. Skate rental is $3. From 8 to 11 p.m. the party is for teens and adults, ages 13 and up. Admission costs $5 and includes skate rental. Admission is $2 for those who are not skating. This skate has taken place as an alternative outreach event to the Warren Community on Halloween night for the past 10 years. Churches, organizations and community members are encouraged to donate bags of assorted candy for treat bags to be distributed at the family skate session. Material and monetary donations can be made by dropping off at the church or by calling 330-883-7456.

Salem Class of 2016 is collecting gently used shoes through Friday to send to Third World countries. Shoes can be dropped off at Payless Shoes and Once Upon a Child on Route 224.

TRIPS

New Hope United Methodist Church Youth, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, are sponsoring a bus trip to Amish country Nov. 8. The cost is $75 per person and includes stops at Berlin, Walnut Creek, and indoor flea market and more. A breakfast buffet at Dutch Valley and a family-style dinner at Der Dutchman are included.
