Fellowship program

Andrea Harless of Poland has been selected to participate in the 2015 Ohio Legislative Service Commission Legislative Fellowship Program.

The highly competitive program takes place at the Statehouse and the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in Columbus, and provides participants the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in state government.

In addition to working with members of the Ohio General Assembly, fellows take part in monthly educational seminars that examine different aspects of public policy.

Harless is a 2008 graduate of Springfield Local High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and certificate in Global Leadership in 2012, as well as a master’s in public administration in 2014, both from Ohio University. She is one of the 24 fellows selected from the 2015 program. LSC fellowships are professional, paid, full-time positions. Harless will begin the 13-month program in December.
