Youngstown Design Works, a Youngstown State University student-run graphic and interactive design agency, will offer services from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Oak Hill Collaborative, 507 Oak Hill Ave.

Services offered include: branding, Wordpress website design, letterheads, business cards, posters, fliers, print advertising, power point templates and interior/exterior signs.

Consignment shop opens in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN

KIDZ Treasures, 3636 Market St., had its grand opening Saturday.

The children’s consignment store is accepting gently used clothes, shoes, accessories and toys. The shop also accepts donations.

Business offerings for veterans

Both Great Clips and Golden Corral will offer freebies for veterans.

Great Clips will offer veterans a free haircut from Nov. 11 through Dec. 31.

Great Clips locations are at 813 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman; 4259 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield; 3551 Belmont Ave., Youngstown; and 6006 Mahoning Ave., Austintown.

The Golden Corral, 320 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman, will offer a free beverage and buffet meal for veterans from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 17.

America Makes course offered

YOUNGSTOWN

America Makes, in partnership with ASM International, is offering a Fundamentals of Additive Manufacturing Materials and Processes course on Nov. 12-13.

This course introduces attendees to the full range of additive-manufacturing processes, the polymeric, metallic and ceramic materials used in those processes; shape-design flexibility and limitations; and typical industrial applications.

The course is conducted at the facilities of America Makes in Youngstown on West Boardman Street. The cost is $1,099. To register, go to americamakes.us.

Accounting firm celebrates 25 years

BOARDMAN

Small Business Accounting LLC in Boardman is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The firm operates out of Nick Moga’s home on Hitchcock Road.

SBA has three full-time employees outside of Moga, and serves clients in six states with payroll, financial statement and tax services.

The clients include businesses with more than $1 million in annual revenue and smaller businesses and nonprofit organizations.

In celebration of the SBA anniversary, Moga will present a $2,500 check Nov. 3 to the Big Reach Center of Hope in Greenford.
