5 injured at Yankee Lake Truck Night

YANKEE LAKE

Five people were taken to various hospitals with minor injuries as a result of rollovers and other accidents during Saturday’s Yankee Lake Truck Night.

Dave Coffy, Brookfield fire chief, said three of the injuries were the result of truck roll-overs. Two pedestrians also were hurt when trucks hit them, however.

Coffy said it is not uncommon for several truck drivers to be injured during a show, but it is uncommon for pedestrians to be injured.
